Inspiration

I used to play guitar but also wanted to try other instruments without actually purchasing them. Thought of the E-instruments or simply E-NSTRUMENTS at that time.

What it does

It helps you play and experience a number of instruments at one place. Simply use keyboard keys or click the buttons and "experience the magic of playing instruments virtually, Enstruments".

How we built it

Started with a traditional brownish look for the website because of most of the instruments like guitar, sitar, tabla & pan-flute have this brown wooden look. Dark theme was preferred and started building the design on Figma and generated some images using AI that had the feel according to our theme. Then built it using the frontend stack of HTML, CSS and Javascript.

Challenges we ran into

Took us a lot of time to get the particular sounds of instruments as there were around 50+ buttons. Then also faced challenge in implementing the javascript and use it to connect the button with sound.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of the great UI that we built. It was tough for us as we are just newly into web development but still gave our best to get the best project out of us.

What we learned

Learnt how we can play sounds in the web using javascript and also connect the playing of sound to any button. Also learnt that the website can be greatly improved and a lot of new features can be added. Teamwork was also a major learning from our hackathon experience.
