  A brief description of what I do and who is behind my back to support me.

Inspiration

Many patients are unable to get their daily medical requirements fulfilled, as due to COVID pandemic. India-Nepal Border has been sealed up thus destroying the Sonauli (India) market as well as disconnecting Nepali patients from buying medicines from Indian market at an affordable cost.

What it does

I created a website which fills this gap, Patients can order their medicines and share their prescription on Whatsapp, We will deliver their requirements from the local retailers, thus saving both patient and the market.

How I built it

I used Wix.com to build the website and started off delivery as by myself unless it gets a pace to keep more employees.

Challenges I ran into

Delivering the package from Border, as the Nepal Police isn't allowing Indian citizens to go inside Nepal, so I had to give the package to one of the receiver from Nepal side to deliver the package.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I have only served 2 patients yet but it requires more promotion so that everyone is aware that this platform is available.

What I learned

Apart from the technical skills, I have learned that serving the needy and thus making them comfortable at home, is a great feeling at the end of the day.

What's next for E-Medic World

E-Medic World can be further connected to Even Nepal's Medical Stores and so digitizing the medical market and being future ready if other such pandemic comes into affect.
