Inspiration

Every two seconds of every day, someone needs blood. Since blood cannot be manufactured outside the body and has a limited shelf life, the supply must constantly be replenished by generous blood donors. It’s not always the donors, we can also contact with the blood banks but this searching process is never easy. So this can be made easy by using E Blood Search Appilication. This includes interaction between the blood banks, donors and the one who needs blood.

What it does

Through E Blood Search, blood banks can register can display their blood availibility details , The users can search the near by blood banks based on location. Through this application we can make the blood availibility search easy. In E Blood Search we have 3 Casetypes:

1.Blood Bank Login: Blood Bank Login is a case type where the blood banks can either register their blood bank in E Blood Search or can login their existing account to update blood availability of their blood bank.

2.Looking For Blood Looking for blood is a case type where the people in need for blood can search for the blood based on state and district.

3.Want To Donate Blood Want to donate blood is a case type where the donors can either login or create an account and register for the available blood camp based on state, district and date.

How we built it

We have built it by using pega 8.7.3 version The concepts that we have used are 1.Casemanagement 2.Datapages 3.section,harness and portals 4.Validations 5.Datatypes 6.Acess Groups

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challege that we have faced while working with data , and portals.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We feel proud in taking a step, completing the project and working hard . This project helped us in learning a lot of concepts.

What's next for E Blood Search

We want to expand this project and apply more rules and concepts to make the blood search process easy.
