Inspiration

As a soon-to-be high school graduate at life’s crossroads, I see a lot of uncertainty surrounding myself and my peers that comes with choosing the right path going forward. I imagine that this struggle is even more challenging for first-generation and lower-income students. That’s why I built this company, to revolutionize the way students navigate their future.

What it does

Dypito helps students who are uncertain about their future, with limited time and limited knowledge of the workforce, to explore a maximum number of jobs in minimal time at a low price, while gaining valuable real-life experience. Furthermore, Dypito encourages students to connect with professionals so they can potentially access more opportunities.

How we built it

I build the website by using HTML and CSS as the programming language. HTML is used for setting up the structure of the website. CSS is used for designing the website. I created a home page to guide users on what is Dypito, and then there are different pages on the services and contacting Dypito.

Challenges we ran into

I am a beginner coder. I learned both HTML and CSS while I was creating the website simultaneously. Since I am new to the languages. I often faced challenges in formatting and designing the website. For example, the paragraphs' placement does not match at all and sometimes the outcome might not match with my expectation.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud of myself for learning both languages within a week. I spent endless hours studying both languages because I am a slower learner. However, once I got the hang of it, everything went very smoothly and I understood the concept of both languages. I am also very proud of myself that I have built a website on my own from scratch. It was certainly not easy with the given time, however, I have managed to successfully build the website.

What we learned

I have learnt both HTML and CSS programming languages. I also have learnt how to build and design a website from scratch.

What's next for Dyptio

I would like to expand Dypito geographically so that there can be more partnerships with different big companies and provide diverse job shadowing and experts for our customers. Ultimately, I hope Dypito can expand internationally. It can help thousands and thousands of students to find their career path with ease without overspending their money.
