Hello everyone, my name is Petr and I’m introducing to you DynaCare -- online platform that provides people fast and easy access to their treatment profile. Our intentions are straightforward -- make people more responsible for their body and mental health. A lot of sick people simply don’t trust their doctors. They think that they can diagnose themselves by googling symptomes and comparing with their feelings. We can provide a lot of arguments against that method, nevertheless we still have such a problem.

Problems People try to use Google for treating their sickness because it’s easier than visiting the doctor. Пациенты не следуют указаниям врача из-за лени, забывчивости, недоверия. Patients do their prescriptions inaccurately because of laziness, distrust or they simply forget it.

Solutions

The cause of these problems is the opaque customer relations at clinics. Digital CRMs do not help because they are still completely disconnected from patients who still have to move around with paper prints and are forced to visit the doctor in person which is always a pain. DynaCare application is to remove this pain and make interaction with your doctor even more happy experience than googling.

Users of the app are both patients and doctors. Features for the patient include such things like:

A convenient calendar of medical prescriptions with notifications, which is filled both by the doctor and the patient. The possibility to get in touch with your doctor online quickly. Doctors don’t like to give their phone number because calls take too much time and are usually done out of context. The app gives the doctor tools for controlling this feedback. A database of trusted information on drugs and medicines. The patient can fetch this info by tapping directly on the prescribed medicine. A single storage for their whole health history that may be shared between different doctors and clinics after patient’s approval.

There are two main integration difficulties: It’s hard to convince the patient to install the app Patients are not going to fill in the prescriptions themselves. Laziness is the human nature.

These difficulties can be solved by attracting doctors first (HOW???!). If the doctor fills the prescription himself into the DynaCare calendar and asks the patient to install the app then the patient is very likely to do this, because it enables the patient to stay in touch with the doctor after the appointment.

User story 1

Patient comes to visit the doctor The doctor filled in the prescription into his DynaCare calendar and recommended the patient to install the app to be in touch. (Retention). The app notificates the patient when to take a medicine, visit the doctor and so on. Patient learns about his prescribed medicines right inside the app. No need to google anymore! By this moment the in-app medical info will be more trusted inside the patients mind because of the “consult your doctor online” feature. It’s important that the patient knows his doctors in person (it’s not just some random “medical-looking person” from the internet). On subsequent appointments in this or other clinics which are connected to DynaCare the patient shares his information with the doctor. No need to remember anything or carrying around papers from one clinic to another.

Another feature for the app is “improving yourself”. The user selects some of the predefined goals that he or she would like to achieve and the app constructs a schedule of actions the user should take in order to achieve these goals. Some examples of personal health goals:

Loose weight Grow muscles Get a six pack Stop smoking

An automatically generated schedule is in fact a calendar of events that contains actual actions that user has to perform in order to achieve his goals. The calendar may also take in consideration the user’s work schedule and overall lifestyle. The schedule may include such actions as:

Take a 30 min walk Do not eat sugar today Go to bed and wake up early Consult your doctor

The automatically generated schedule is going to be simple and consist of few well known techniques along with a recommendation to see the doctor.

The doctor may then provide a more detailed and personalized prescription on how to achieve the user’s goals which can be synched into user’s DynaCare calendar.

The key idea here is to let people know that they can and should consult the doctor not only when they feel bad, but also if they want to improve.

User story 2

The user wants to improve his health and downloads the app which is promoted as the app for people who care about their health. The app suggests them a visit to a doctor in the clinic that is already connected to the DynaCare. The same steps as in ”User Story 1” happen, except that the patient already has his app installed.
