Inspiration

we made this project after an introductory workshop to p5.js. since we're all beginners, we thought this would be a cool little project! also, see this scene from the office - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QOtuX0jL85Y.

What it does

nothing much but it looks cute! the dvd logo bounces around and you can play with the slider and button on the remote.

How we built it

we used p5.js to code our project.

Challenges we ran into

learning all of p5.js in 24 hours was certainly difficult. it was especially hard to do everything online when we couldn't communicate in person and show each other what we were doing, and even harder to coordinate on the code together when we couldn't find a collaborative coding space that worked for us.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

our code running and doing 80% of what we originally envisioned was a big accomplishment.

What we learned

the basics of p5.js: adding buttons, audio, visuals, colours, shapes, oop.

What's next for DVD logo screen

probably making it just a bit more interactive and fun! and also cleaning up the design so it's more visually appealing.
