Inspiration

The best experience a business can offer to their customers is to let them calculate how much they will be expected once the paid goods arrives in their country.

What it does

This is a Messenger Calculator bot that uses the Facebook Graph API to enable customers calculate how much to pay for a vehicle imported from Japan to Kenya.

This is how it works

A customer start messenger and prompts the bot with general vehicle specifications for example: Engine size, model, color, year manufactured etc then the bot calculate total tax of the vehicle and also send recommendations based on these specifications.

At the moment, the duty calculator supports three vehicle models (Audi, Toyota and Nissan) but you can add more No limits

This bot also support vehicle inquiry service for real time chat service. Here, your customer can search with a reference number or image of the vehicle.

For eCommerce

It is now possible to send offers to your customers on Messenger. for example: you can send today offers, trending items, Christmas offers, Hot deals etc

How I built it

I used visual studio code editor to write the code and alibaba cloud simple server to deploy to heroku with puTTY

Challenges I ran into

I did not know that for you to activate messenger, you must first send your first message. Thanks to the messenger platform community group that helped me with love.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I am proud that my customers now shall be able to interact with my Facebook Page even when i am not online. This will help generate more sales for my business.

What I learned

I have learned how to deploy Messenger Bot to heroku using a cloud simple server. It was my first time
