Inspiration
The inspiration was a game in which the AI adapted to your play style. If you kept going with one strategy, the enemy AI would start to counter it.
What it does
Very simply, it's a stealth game. The main objective is to sneak through the TLC, avoiding the guards, in order to steal the DurHack Dino. And after, you need to make it out
How we built it
We build it in Godot using GDScript and we used ibisPaint X to design character art and backgrounds
Challenges we ran into
The biggest challenge that we ran into was working through tile placement. Our background was treated as a single tile which made it difficult to add collision barriers. In addition, we struggled with time. This was a very ambitious project and we had to learn a new coding language in addition to all the complications.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Having a somewhat functional game and learning a new language

We learnt how to use Godot and GDScript, as well as more about game development
What's next for DurHeist
The DurHack Dino series will continue in the next year
