Space missions take immense amounts of training and accuracy to complete. Our robot arm can do it in a single run with an infinite amount of accuracy.

What it does

It is a robotic arm that is controlled by a wireless Bluetooth joystick.

Challenges we ran into

Servos wouldn't work. Leap motion did not have stable documentation.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We managed to build everything even after facing a lot of obstacles and losing time while trying to figure out the build process of the arm.

What we learned

Not to be always fully dependent on new technology as it may not work properly.

What's next for Dum-E

A VR simulation of the arm so people can carry out various simulations of the arm and learn.
