Inspiration
Duedle was inspired by the common struggle many people face when tackling large projects. This can include academic assignments, personal goals, and professional tasks. These big tasks often feel overwhelming due to their complexity, unclear structure, or tight deadlines. Therefore, we built Duedle to ease people from the stress brought by their numerous tasks.
What it does
Duedle is an app that helps users create a clear blueprint for their tasks by using AI to break down large tasks into smaller daily steps within a set deadline. The AI interprets additional information that needs to be considered, such as the grading criteria, topic, or preferred date of completion, to suggest a realistic and compiled timeline. Using this information, Duedle’s AI creates a personalized roadmap filled with specific sub-tasks, making large goals feel doable.
Features: Based on the User’s input, Duedle’s AI generates a personalized timeline with clear, daily sub-tasks leading up to the deadline. As you complete each sub-task, your progress bar fills, helping users track their progress visually. Users earn points for completing tasks. You can follow friends and see each other’s scores in the leaderboard,adding a layer of motivation through friendly competition. Streaks help users stay motivated The overlay of design were he front-end was built using HTML and Java Script, and the backend was built using python for core functionality and our own database to store user data.
Task planning: Gemini AI is used to break down goals into highly detailed tasks. The AI output is then converted into a structured format that powers the task timeline.
