Inspiration
The night before I was playing spoons with friends and decided it was an interesting idea, so I made the concept a bit cuter, then got to work.
What it does
Four Duck AI's sit around a table playing spoons. When one of the ducks reaches four cards, the round ends. They then randomly pick who lost. Whoever loses get's a point. Once someone reaches 6 points or "SPOONS".length. the game ends.
How we built it
I built it with the Atom IDE and Google Chrome.
Challenges we ran into
The logic of the game was both simpler and more difficult than anticipated. Lot's of hangups with relearning javascript and html.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I'm proud of what I've written regardless. When code compiles for me, it's an accomplishment. And also I'm very proud of myself that I've been working solo for nearly 24 hours straight on this project.
What we learned
I relearned Javascript and HTML. And I learned that sometimes the best path is the easiest one when it comes to making simple AI's.
What's next for Duck Game Night
I would certainly love to finish it.
