Dual-Fuel App for Biofuels

This App for mobile phones and tablets is targeted to farmers and coops that produce their own biofuels. Given the long distances and spare availability of biofuels, this App helps the user maximize the consumption of home-grown biofuels instead of petrofuels. The emergence of dual-fuel trucks in the US market means that the driver can select between different petro-fuels (diesel or gasoline) and different biofuels (biodiesel or biomethane). An optimizing algorithm uses data from the vehicle (Open Data via ODB-II) and map information (from Google Maps) to recommend when and where to buy fuel.
