Inspiration

Every Businesses, Schools, companies, Industries etc. often communicate with their students, Clients, customers in realtime via SMS, Voice Calls and Media MMS.

My Inspiration: Most atime I need to charge my laptop due frequent Power Outage everyday 24/7, I used to go to a friend of mine who has generator and owns a CyberCafe. On many occassions I have witness so many School Teachers, Students, Club Members, Teams, Meeting Groups, Business people compiling the list of their Clients, Customers, Students etc that they want to reach via SMS or even via Voice Calls and Media MMS.

Some family members also want to reach their children studing abroad by sending to them some family and friend Pictures especially on special occassions and on their birthday via Media MMS.

Some of this Business People, Schools, Club Members etc. always laments that if there is a secured place they could store their recipients, Clients, students, customers and Members informations/Bio-data prior to messaging them via SMS, Voice call, Media MMS thats is gonna be awesome. When I saw this contest, I went to meet one of those Business Men who always patronize my friends CyberCafe and told him what I was about to build as regards to this contest, He was so happy as He urged me to please make this a successful framework and as a result,DTwilio was born.

About DTwilio

DTwilio(Decentralized Twilio) is a decentralized Users/Team Management and Multi-Media MMS, Voice Call and SMS Messaging System Powered by Blockstack & Twilio.

All data in this application are 100% stored and saved in Blockstack Gaia Decentralized Server thus giving Twilio Users the ability to completely own, control and manage their data securely. I have 29 features in Mind, only 14 features were currently integrated. I will be rolling out 15+ features by January 2020.

What It Does.

It allows Every Businesses, Schools, companies, Industries etc. to store and save their Clients, Recipients, Students, Customers data in the Blockstack Gaia decentralized server and then communicate to them via SMS, Media MMS and Voice call anytime any day with their contacts informtions already saved in the Twilio Users Blockstack Gaia Server. This help to save Twilio Admin Users from pepertual Stress of having to type their Recipients data each time they wants to send and recieve SMS, Voice Calls, MMS to them.
You can also manage or delete your recipients account data from the app.

The Application also keep historical Records of all the sent SMS Records which is still save in the users Gaia storage for later access and review chronologically.

How to use This Application.

1.) First Register with Blockstack to get your Blockstack Id.

2.) Register with Twilio to get Your Twilio API Credentials(Eg. Account SID, Auth Token & Twilio Mobile Number).
Click on Add Twilio Credentials button from Twilio Settings Page to input those data so that it can be saved to your Bloackstack Gaia Storage. The Application uses these API Credentials stored in the Twilio Users Blockstack Gaia to make various API call to Twilio SDK backend when sending and recieving SMS, Media MMS and Voice Calls to and from various Twilio subscribers.

3.)Click on Refresh Twilio Account Balance to fetch your Account Balance from Twilio as can be seen from screenshot below. This account balance will also be fetched automatically from Twilio each time the user login into the App. The essence of this Twilio Account balance API Call is to keep Twilio Users inform about her Account Status within her Twilio Wallets. You can now move to registering and storing your Clients Data with Blockstack Gaia.

4.)Registering Your Clients, Recipients, Students and Customer's Data with Twilio and Blockstack Gaia Storage.

4a.)Create Individual Recipients:
This options within the aplications allows Twilio Users/Clients to create and register their Individual Recipients along with their data like Firstname, Lastname and Mobile Contacts. All this Data are stored within Twilio Users Blockstack Gaia Decentralized Server.

4b.) Create Team/Groups:
This options allows Twilio Users to create various Teams/Groups within the applications. You can create as many team or groups as possible for sending and recieving Large Bulk SMS.

The Twilio user just need to enter Teams/Groups Name, Team Slogan Name/Tags and list of all the Team/group members mobile contact list, each seperated by commas Eg. +12535353366, +16785t56666, +12568955895 etc. All this Team/Group Contacts details are stored within the Twilio Users Blockstack Gaia Storage.
This saves the Twilio users the stress of typing and entering of each Team Details or series of long list comma seperated list of Team members mobile number any time she wants to send SMS messages. Now its time to send and recieve SMS, MMS & Voice Calls Messages.

5.) Managing Your Clients/Recipients Data, Sending & Recieving SMS, Media MMS and Voice Calls

This applications provides you with 4 ways with which You can send and recieve SMS, Media MMS and Voice Calls messages.

5a)Send Individual SMS, Media MMS & Voice Calls:
This option allows Twilio Users to Send and recieve SMS, MMS and Voice Calls to their Individual Recipients with contact informations already stored on Blockstack Gaia Storage. No Need of typing the Recipient details anytime you want to send SMS, MMS and Voice Calls Messages with this option.
You can also Search, Send SMS, MMS, Voice Calls, Edit and Delete your Recipient Data stored on Blockstack Gaia Storage individually via this option.

5b.)Send Multi-Individual BulkSMS
This options within the aplications allows Twilio Users/Clients to Send & Recieve Multi-Individual BulkSMS.

Now Lets assume that you have 200 Individual Recipients but you want to send SMS messages to only 30 Recipients,Multi-Individual BulkSMS provides you with that option on the fly. All you have to do first is to just search and checkbox all the recipients that you want to send SMS to, and then click on the button Mini Send as can be seen in the screenshot below.
From there You can enter SMS Messages, Sender Name and then send SMS Mesages. This Mini BulkSMS Messages are sent to your Individual Recipient with contact informations already stored on Blockstack Gaia Storage. No Need of typing the Recipient details anytime you want to send SMS Messages with this options.


5c.) Send Team/Group BulkSMS
This options allow Twilio Users to send and recieve Large BulkSMS to various Teams/Groups within the applications.
Here the Twilio User sends Large BulkSMS to list of the Team/group members commas seperated mobile contact Eg. +12535353366, +16785t56666, +12568955895 etc. that is already stored within the Twilio Users Blockstack Gaia Storage.
No need of entering of each Team Details or series of long list comma seperated list of Team members mobile number any time you wants to send Large BulkSMS messages. Twilio users can Send Large BulkSMS to all specified Team/Groups Members. with contact informations already stored on Blockstack Gaia Storage.
You can also Search, Send Bulk SMS, Edit and Delete your Team/Groups Data stored on Blockstack Gaia Storage.

5d.)Send Quick SMS
Quick Sms option allows you to send sms to any Recipients, Teams, Groups etc. either Individually or in Bulk etc.
With Quick SMS, you do not need to store recipients information in the Blockstack Gaia Storage. All you need to do is enter the Recipient Mobile Contacts for individual sms or list of all team mobile contacts seperated by commas for Bulksms.
With Quick SMS, you can send both individual or bulk sms on the fly without storing Recipients Info in the Blockstack Gaia decentralized Server.

6.) Managing Sent SMS Historical Records.
Users Sent SMS History and Chronological Monitoring with Blockstack & Gaia.
Our System keeps tracks, Drafts and history of all the SMS Messages Sent within the application by a particular Twilio User for later access.
All this sent SMS messages or Drafts are warehoused and stored within the Twilio Users Decentralized Blockstack Gaia Storage with time chronologically.
You can Review, Access or delete the sent sms messages anytime any day. You can Search Individual SMS History By Recipient LastName, FirstName,Contact No or Bulk Team SMS by Team names or Team Slogan Names etc..

How I built It.

This Application was built with Blockstack Authentication, Gaia Storage and Twilio API and Reactjs as a scripting language. I used Gaia to store and manage Twilio Users and API Data. I use Twilio PHP SDK to send and recieve SMS, Media MMS and Voice Call to and from Twilio Subscribers Accounts.

What Next:

1.)Moving the App to a new Domain.
2.)Restructuring the App, the design for more better look and for better Performance.
3.)Integrating 15+ New features.
4.)Many More.
