💡 Inspiration

We wanted to build something fun, interactive, and instantly satisfying — and what’s more fun than banging on drums? Inspired by browser-based instruments and music toys, the Virtual Drum Kit brings a mini beat machine right to your keyboard and mouse — no setup, just rhythm.

⚙️ What It Does

  • Lets users play drum sounds by pressing specific keys or clicking on on-screen drum elements

  • Maps each key (e.g. A, S, D, etc.) to a different sound:

    • 🥁 Kick
    • 🪘 Snare
    • 🎶 Hi-hat
    • 🥁 Toms
    • 🛎️ Crash

  • Provides visual feedback (animations or highlights) when each drum is played

  • Works seamlessly on both desktop and mobile (touch support)
