Mapping the relationships between anticancer drugs has often relied on naive classification of the manufacturers intended targets and does not focus on the characteristics of cells that make them responsive or nonresponsive to the drug. We present a novel method for characterizing the relationships between anticancer drugs by mapping them into a network based on similarities of mutations and functional activities in the cells themselves.
