Inspiration

A Volvo car drowsiness system is an innovative safety feature that aims to prevent accidents caused by driver drowsiness . Volvo's systems are superior as well as effective this factor inspired my team to work on this project

What it does

Our project is about saving lives and making our roads safer for everyone. Every line of code we wrote and every alert your system triggers has the potential to prevent accidents, protect families, and bring loved ones safely home.

How we built it

Our team discussed various projects in the hackathon hall but we find this project more useful. We started working on various python libraries and we worked on various code with different parameters and finally this code ran successfully with the help of python opencv(computer vision tasks library),dlib,imutils

Challenges we ran into

While installing libraries we forgot the concept of tensorflow. After completing the project we regretted for not using libraries keras, pytorch since it uses deep learning and machine learning the concept and is more simpler compared to our project

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Since its our first hackathon we faced lot of errors and problems ,we learned a lot about linear algebraic libraries while working with this project and the way the code behaves. We learned about various problem solving techniques

What we learned

We learned that a code is not just about assigning variables finding errors and executing them. It is about understanding the solutions logically and having good problem solving skills

What's next for Drowsiness Alert System

Well now our team is currently focusing on machine learning and deep learning concepts .After learning these concepts we are going to build a project it will be the advanced version of the current drowsiness alert system including body posture detection
