Inspiration
We got this idea from seeing how much water is wasted by normal water fountains. We began thinking about ways to prevent this wastage, and we came up with DropWise. DropWise minimizes water wastage by filling water exactly to the top of the bottle without overflowing.
How we'll build it
We are using an object detection based camera in order to figure out the volume of people's water bottles. From there, we will figure out how much water is necessary to fill up the bottle, ensuring that the bottle doesn't overflow.
