DropOff

With the world ever changing, we need to adapt with it. With DropOff, with the click of a button you can drop of anything from gifts to home cooked meals to your colleagues, friends, or loved ones.

Inspiration

Just a few days ago, my mom cooked one of her best meals and we wanted to drop off a plate for my grandparents but we did not have access to a car. We were unable to make the drive to my grandparent's house and that's when I thought, what if I could have a driver deliver the plate for us.

What it does

DropOff allows users to input a route and a small description of any package and a DropOff driver nearby can select the drive and deliver the package for the user instantly. The app makes dropping anything off, whether it's food, clothing, etc to a friend, family member, work colleague significantly easier.

How we built it

We used React.js and the leaflet maps API to create an intuitive and functional web application.
