inspo
Loosely inspired by Block Tales, which is in itself inspired by Paper Mario 64 & Earthbound: game
For the story I was based of tis one quote from a Dav Pilkey book about how even a small ripple in a pond can have consequences, no matter how tiny (im jst paraphrasing lol)
what
combat
It takes user input as a single character (q, w, e, r) to do different actions (attack, defend, use item, run) it the outputs the results of such actions and enemy actions
(yeah i no time to explain the rest it just does stuff)
how
I asked ai to help me for the combat code, and it rewrote it to make i more clean, the other functions all all me tho :D
i used the internet to search up certain things like how classes work to get a better understanding
challenges
time and my lack of intelligence
accomplishments
Its hard to be proud of stuff these days. (i beat block tales demo 1 and 2 on hard mode tho :D that counts right)
What we learned
I have a better understanding how functions and classes work, along with python return()
next
Maybe I'll actually finish it (maybe) [^1]
[^1]: (im prob never touching this again)
