As someone who has personally struggled with weight gain and inconsistent health habits, I wanted to create a platform that addresses the real-life challenges of weight loss. Most apps focus only on calorie counting or workouts. But I realized that mindset, consistency, personalization, and holistic support are equally important.
That's how DropKilos was born — an AI-powered companion for people ready to commit to a healthier, more confident version of themselves.
How We Built It
We used Bolt to build the core AI flow of DropKilos. The prompt is designed to collect detailed health data such as:
- Age, gender, weight, target weight
- Allergies, physical conditions, food preferences
- Activity level and mental wellness indicators
Once the data is gathered, the AI generates a custom transformation roadmap — including:
- Weight-loss milestones
- Daily routine suggestions
- Diet and workout recommendations
- Emotional and motivational guidance
We also designed hooks for paid add-ons:
- Personal AI Coach (daily motivator and check-ins)
- Certified Nutritionists
- Online Fitness Trainers
- Mindset Coaches
What We Learned
- Users need empathy and structure, not just numbers
- GPT can handle highly personalized coaching if the prompt is crafted with real-life behavior patterns
- A combination of AI + human touch creates real transformation
