Inspiration

I was inspired while doing #2. What is everyone thinking? What am I thinking.

What it does

Drop A Tought lets users anonymously share thoughts during bathroom breaks. AI analyzes submissions to generate collective insights and creates floating word clouds that visualize humanity's real-time emotional state.

How we built it

1 shot prompt in Bolt.new React frontend with minimal, ethereal design Supabase for real-time data storage OpenAI API for generating collective insights from batched thoughts Custom CSS animations for floating word clouds with emotion-based colors

Challenges we ran into

Worked more on the prompt, balancing viral bathroom humor with genuinely profound content.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Built a complete app that's both shareable and deeply meaningful. Successfully merged humor with philosophy. And there is more to come...

What we learned

Simple is better. Journaling works on forced schedule ;)

What's next for Drop A Thought

Many things. Privacy as priority. Visualizations for collective moods by region, time, etc. Language detection. Optional history for users. Searching thoughts. Social interactions (likes), etc. AI created Artwork from weekly inputs.
