We had access to the hardware

What it does

Controls an rc car via a rasberry pi and an android smartphone

How we built it

installed an apache server onto the rasberry pi and then interfaced the android app with the apache server

Challenges we ran into

Using motion sensors on the android phone proved to be a challenge

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Using motion sensors on the android phone to control car movement

What we learned

Basically everything from installing an apache server and more advanced android studio applications

What's next for Droid Car

making the front wheels controllable via servo, and a parachute
