Inspiration

Scrapped idea that became a testimony to the possibilities of engineering.

What it does

It is an RC car the allows you to explore your surroundings with virtual reality via Google Cardboard.

How I built it

With out bare hands and without prior hardware experience.

Challenges I ran into

Poor documentation and lack of materials were major challenges

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

We are proud of completing a hardware hack by using various parts to make a custom RC car.

What I learned

We have learned how hard it is to do hardware projects in hackathons.

What's next for DriVR

Expand to other products for custom RC car such as the Roomba.
