DriveForce, by Team Barua
DrivingForce was developed in the interests of helping those in need. Shelters, whether homeless or animal, soup kitchens, community projects such as Habitat for Humanity-- more often than not, there's more work to do than can be done. DrivingForce solves this shortage by providing a platform where philanthropic organizers and volunteers alike can communicate and collaborate in a real-time environment to support and supplement community service. Organizations can post events and jobs that they need a helping hand with, and volunteers can accept these job postings, which currently mainly consist of routes delivering food, blankets, and other necessities to the homeless via automobile. Some current core features of DrivingForce include:
Real-time chat applications between volunteers and organizers for ease in communication
Quick job posting/sign-up forms to expedite the aid process
Embedded Google Maps directions services for each job posting
It's never too late to make a positive difference in someone's life, so come and be a part of the DrivingForce behind change.
