  • Confusing terms, hidden costs, and information overload.
  • No clear sense of what’s truly affordable for their lifestyle.
  • A lack of personalized advice to improve their options. We wanted to change that by combining AI, behavioral finance, and intuitive design into a single tool that makes financial clarity as easy as conversation. That’s how Carma was born — your AI-powered path to good car decisions.

Carma is built as a full-stack Cloudflare-native web app:

Frontend: React + TypeScript + Tailwind CSS + ShadCN UI + Framer Motion for modern, responsive animations.

Backend: Cloudflare Workers for ultra-fast API endpoints — finance calculations, AI chat routing, and car recommendations.

Database: Cloudflare D1 (SQLite-compatible) for user profiles, sessions, and saved scenarios.

AI Integration: Cloudflare Workers AI for LLM-based chat and optional text-to-image rendering for personalized Toyota visuals.

Optional Mock Banking API: Capital One’s Nessie API for simulated transaction and account data.

Deployment: Cloudflare Pages (frontend) + Workers (backend) — fully serverless, scalable, and zero-infrastructure.
