Inspiration

Taking LEED and organic food certification as an example, we propose a self-reporting system for battery and e-mobility safety for drivers and delivery apps.

What it does

The system has three overall components: 1) a calculator for a safety rating for batteries and vehicles (pulled from public sources or crowdsource-updated), 2) a feature within a delivery app for drivers to register the make of their battery and vehicle, 3) in-app decoration or checkmark for driver profiles with high safety, along with monetary or dispatching bonuses.

Lack of data on the ebikes and batteries involved in ebike fires.
