Inspiration
Driving in new cities is hard. This is pretty much a navigation app that uses your phones cameras to help navigate new areas audibly. My phone is on the dash, and laptop is doing the processing. It can tell if you are missing your turn, help you find a place to park and remind you if the lights green. Claude Code was used during this project. One challenge that I learned from is when I was originally trying to build this is that a phone cannot process fast enough while on the road, so had to switch to laptop.
Fine-tuned a Sign detector model for detecting US road signs.
