Inspiration

60% of adult drivers say they have driven a vehicle while feeling drowsy, and half of them admitted that they have actually fallen asleep!

What it does

We recreated the "wake-up" call for long-distance drivers. The driver's alertness is detected and monitored via the muse, a brain wave monitoring device. When decreased alertness is detected, the driver would receive a phone call, telling them to wake up and that it is dangerous to be driving when sleepy!

How we built it

Muse EEG brain wave input into xCode, rendered to detect alertness. Twillio API is called to give user a call when decreased alertness is detected.

Challenges we ran into

Objective C was difficult to figure out at first, but we learned to tackle and comb through the challenges.
