DripZ is a hardware-software project made using Arduino, Grove, and some high school chemistry and physics. We bring you a simple solution to a big problem: water contamination.
The DripZ circuit replaces a potentiometer with your liquid of choice and provides a numeric or visual digital display of a quantified value for the electrolyte concentration. We use the conductance of the liquid to determine electrolyte concentration.
By placing the DripZ interface on municipal water tanks, house water supply tanks, and local village wells in developing nations, communities can ensure that only safe, drinkable water is consumed. If the electrolyte levels in the water supply exceed international safety standards, our device alerts you before you drink anything icky.
To provide our product at minimal cost to developing nations and communities, we’ve created DripZ Elite, for athletes, to provide an alternate revenue stream for the cost of production. DripZ Elite lets athletes use the same hardware, embedded in a water bottle, to track their electrolyte consumption through a mobile application made using Swift. We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to saving lives one drip at a time.
