Inspiration
We also use multiple account to save files on cloud like Google Drive, Dropbox, Box etc. If people had large free space available with single provider then they would have stored all their files in one place but this is not the reality. The pain of organizing files across different service manually inspired us to create our tool.
What it does
Automatically backups up local files/folders across cloud service providers.
How we built it
Our UI is in Electron so that it is platform independent. Backend is written in Python and is a Flask webapp AWS API, Google cloud api
Challenges we ran into
Integrating different cloud provider in our application to perform upload and download. Sorting files according to space available in different service. which file should go where.
