Almost everyone who journals stops re-reading. The entries pile up as a wall of text, and the one thing journaling is supposed to give you, perspective on your own life, is the thing a text file is worst at delivering.
Meanwhile, memory is not a neutral archive. Negative events are encoded more strongly and recalled more readily than positive ones. Left alone, your sense of your own past skews darker than the record actually supports.
So we inverted it. Instead of a scroll you never revisit, your journal becomes a night sky. Good things you wrote about are stars that come closer over time. Hard things keep their place in the record but drift outward, dimming, not deleted, not denied, just no longer sitting in the middle of the frame. Recovery, made visible.
