Inspiration
Digital engagement is often measured using vanity metrics such as impressions, clicks, or page views. These metrics say very little about whether people actually engaged with or understood the content.
We wanted to build a platform that rewards meaningful participation instead of passive interaction. Dremads was created to help organizations launch engagement campaigns where rewards are earned only after engagement is verified, giving advertisers greater confidence in campaign outcomes while creating transparent incentives for participants.
What it does
Dremads is an AI-powered engagement platform that enables organizations to create, manage, verify, and reward audience engagement.
The current MVP supports three user roles:
- Advertisers: create and fund engagement campaigns.
- Administrators: review, moderate, approve, and activate campaigns.
- Participants: discover campaigns, complete the required engagement activity, and earn rewards.
In this MVP, engagement is verified through interactive quizzes before rewards are released. The platform also includes:
- Role-based authentication
- Campaign moderation workflows
- Wallet and reward management
- Fraud prevention and duplicate reward protection
- Secure backend APIs
- Production deployment

AI-assisted development
We used Codex extensively throughout development for implementation, debugging, deployment, dependency management, infrastructure troubleshooting, and production validation.
We used GPT-5.6 to refine the application architecture, improve product design decisions, review technical approaches, strengthen documentation, and help solve engineering challenges throughout development.
Every AI-generated contribution was reviewed, tested, and integrated before deployment.
Challenges we ran into
Building a production-ready workflow introduced several engineering challenges.
Some of the biggest included:
- Designing secure role-based authorization
- Preventing duplicate reward issuance
- Coordinating advertiser, administrator, and participant workflows
- Production deployment across Railway and Vercel
- Resolving dependency and deployment issues during production rollout
- Safely applying production database migrations without affecting existing data
We also spent significant effort validating authentication boundaries, production configuration, and deployment reliability.

What we learned
This project reinforced the importance of combining strong engineering practices with AI-assisted development.
Codex significantly accelerated implementation and debugging, while GPT-5.6 helped us reason through architecture, product decisions, and technical trade-offs.
We also learned the importance of validating AI-generated solutions through testing, code review, and production verification.
What's next for Dremads
The current MVP validates Dremads’ core campaign, engagement-verification, and reward workflow. Our next phase focuses on making the platform safer, more intelligent, and ready for global adoption.
Future development includes:
- KYC and identity verification for participants, advertisers, and organizations
- Multi-currency wallets and rewards for global campaigns
- Localized payment methods and international payment gateway integration
- Multiple engagement-verification methods beyond quizzes
- AI-assisted campaign creation, targeting, optimization, and fraud detection
