We know from personal experience that moving often sucks. There are so many unknowns that it's hard to enough to plan from that alone - add in the fact that we are busy and have limited money and it can be a nightmare!
SmoothMove uses data to help you anticipate what you'll face through the change so that you can plan without the stress and make sure you have enough money to cover everything. We also connect you with the cheapest providers for everything you need so that you'll have funds to make the most of your new city.
Our data work was done with data from Stats Canada and put together with Google Data studio. Our dev work was done in react and Gitlab. Design work was done with the sketch.
We learnt a lot about dividing up development work. It would have been beneficial to have been clearer on the flow from the start. We also could have focused more on the problem that we are solving rather than solutioning too early and focusing on technology.
