Inspiration

As kids, we all have big dreams — becoming astronauts, artists, doctors, creators. But most of us lose that spark due to lack of proper guidance and support. I wanted to build something that helps the next generation hold onto their dreams. That’s why I created DreamVerse — an interactive platform that guides kids and teens toward the right career path based on their interests and strengths.

What it does

DreamVerse helps young users explore career options in an exciting, cinematic way. It features:

*A career discovery quiz to match users with professions

*A carousel of careers like AI Expert, Architect, Filmmaker, etc.

*Individual career pages with info, roadmaps, salary data, and top companies

*Sections for Learning Resources, Mentor Connections, and Dreamer Stories

How we built it

*Built entirely using Bolt.new (no-code platform)

*Hosted on Netlify

*Future backend (for chatbots and user data) planned using Supabase

*UI inspired by the Marvel Cinematic Universe to keep kids engaged

Challenges we ran into

*Some core features like mentor chat and course integrations are not functional yet due to time, complexity, and resource needs

*Making the platform engaging but simple enough for kids was a design challenge

*Building solo without any coding experience pushed me out of my comfort zone

Accomplishments that we're proud of

*Designed and built a complete platform with zero coding knowledge

*Created a unique, cinematic career experience for kids and teens

*Took an ambitious idea and brought it to life in a few days

*Learned to plan, design, and present a meaningful tech product

*How to structure features like quizzes, roadmaps, and navigation into a seamless flow

*That building something impactful doesn’t always require code — just vision and persistence

*Integrate course links from trusted platforms

*Launch the full Learning Hub and Dreamer Stories sections

*Implement an AI chatbot to answer user questions

*Expand the platform to reach schools and students around the world
