Inspiration

Today, having a gadget and internet means unlimited access to almost any knowledge and opportunity. But for many young people, potential still goes untapped—not because they lack resources, but because they lack willpower, life discipline, and clarity.

DreamShark was born from a simple belief: With just a phone, internet, and the right system, anyone can build the mindset and skills needed to chase their dreams. By using AI to personalize learning and embedding gamified progress, DreamShark helps young people grow their willpower, master essential life skills, and unlock their full potential—no matter where they start.

What it does

DreamShark mainly has 4 features:

1. Gamified Learning Courses that allow users to learn life skills through interactive courses & ranks designed to train the 5 Major Important Aspects to reach the gold potential

2. AI Real-Case discussion Assessment where the user will face real-life scenarios discussion generated by AI, and get a pass-or-fail feedback based on how well they apply what they’ve learned.

3. The mindset vault: A distilled library of powerful ideas from books, psychology, and philosophy—turned into actionable principles

4. Forum and discussion: users can discuss related topics for better understanding & real-life usage

How we built it

FrontEnd: React

BackEnd: Firebase

We're using a bunch of React components and using Firebase database for some of our system

Challenges we ran into

  • No Credit Card & Free Option to make a custom LLM
  • Unstable Connection

Accomplishments that we're proud of

  • Focus this much time & Accomplish a lot of things in a very short period of time
  • A Very Good & Interactive UI
  • Touched when realized how deeply an LLM could understand and dig down so well — it felt like talking to a real therapist.

What's next for DreamShark

The most crucial step forward for DreamShark will be to maximize the AI & Custom LLM. This will involve integrating the scoring criteria based on the user response.

Making DreamShark like the self-development version of Duolingo.
