Inspiration
I host a dream interpretation podcast called "Let's Talk About Dreams" and I wanted to create an automated dream journal that logs and interprets dreams, generates beautiful dream-inspired videos, and puts a finger on the pulse of the collective unconscious by building an ever-growing database of publicly submitted dreams.
What it does
It analyzes dreams and automatically generates videos.
How we built it
Used Codex and Claude Code to implement OpenAI realtime voice API and GPT4 to analyze dreams then pipe dream images to Freepik for video generation. Attempted to use Airia and Clickhouse to submit annotated dreams to a structured growing public dream database.
Challenges we ran into
I couldn't get the Airia and Clickhouse integrations working.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I'm happy that I got the Freepik pipeline working!
What we learned
I learned how to use Postman for testing Clickhouse connectivity. I also learned to keep it simple.
What's next for DreamPulse
I really want to get the Clickhouse database input functions working.
