Inspiration
We've all been thereโthe classic game gets a little old. That's what inspired us! We wanted to create an app that keeps the game fun and unpredictable by always having a fresh list of challenges ready to go.
What it does
Our app is a digital version of Truth or Dare that lets you choose from different modes, like ๐ Romantic, ๐ Funny, or ๐ก Angry, to get unique and fresh challenges. The core idea is to remove the need for players to come up with new questions on the spot, so you can focus on playing the game.

How we built it
We built this project using the essential trio of web development: HTML for the structure, CSS for the styling and animations, and JavaScript for all the interactive logic. The app's intelligence lies in JavaScript, which dynamically changes the challenges based on which emoji-themed button you click.
Challenges we ran into
One of the main challenges was designing a simple and clean user interface while managing multiple sets of challenges. We wanted to avoid a cluttered screen, so we decided on a simple toggle system where one click on an emoji button activates its mode and a second click deactivates it.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're most proud of how we made it so easy to switch between game modes with a single click. This feature makes the app feel intuitive and user-friendly, and it was a great accomplishment for us to build.
What we learned
We learned a lot about dynamic content and how to manage the "state" of an application with JavaScript. This project was a great hands-on way to understand how to build an app that's both fun to use and simple to navigate.
What's next for The Party Starter
We're already thinking about what's next! We hope to add more themes and let users submit their own truths and dares, turning the game into a community-driven experience.or maybe you could play with your long distance friends online.
