DreamCrane is one button. You hold it, tell it a dream out loud, and about ten seconds later you have a painting of it - in a private journal, with the transcript underneath.
It's live on both stores: Google Play since 19 August, the App Store since 1 September. That second one took four submissions.
The part I'm proudest of isn't the painting. It's what happens after forty of them. Every seven dreams close into a constellation, named for the motifs they share. A single dream tells you almost nothing. An atlas of them starts showing what your sleep keeps circling back to.
Coming up in this log:
- Why telling a language model what not to do made it refuse "I lost my keys"
- Five Apple rejections, five specific lessons
- The main screen ran at 13 fps, and the blurs weren't the problem
