Inspiration
Hey there! So, my journey into creating the Dream Home Visualizer started from my days as a real estate agent. I saw loads of folks struggle to pin down what they really wanted in a home. It's like, they had requirements in their minds, but couldn't quite describe the actual design or style. It also takes a long time for a typical buyer to finalise the vision on their future home. And I thought, why not make something that helps bridge that gap?
What it does
Dream Home Visualizer is pretty much what it sounds like. You put in your requirements. It estimates the price and also provides individual pictures of each room of your dream home. You can click refresh and see a different version of it to come up with your ideal home to rent/buy or even build.
How I built it
Using text inputs from the user individually for each spec. Then text model will provide an estimated price, and image generation model will provide images for each individual room.
Challenges I ran into
Image models are generally not that precise and need a lot of prompts to walk around side effects and hallucinations.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Overall, it looks neat and works as expected.
What I learned
I definitely got a lot better in prompt engineering.
What's next for Dream Home Visualizer
Potentially hook it up with the internet and look for real property listings that match the requirements.
