Inspiration
We had no idea what we could do, but we knew wanted to go all out, so we went for a 3D game in Unity.
What it does
It's suppposed to be a game representing the main character's emotions(Jack) through the fragments you picked up.
How we built it
We built it using Unity and C# scripts. Jaydon used Blender for 3D Models.
Challenges we ran into
We didn't get nearly as much done in the timeframe as we would like, and ultimately couldn't finish up the game completely. However we're still very happy that we made what we did.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I'm very happy we managed to do so much, even if we didn't finish. Jaydon especially worked REALLY hard on Blender stuff and that in itself I believe is incredible.
What we learned
We both learned a lot about Unity, but also the cost of overambition. We were aiming WAY too high, and just barely fell short.
What's next for Dream Floating
We would like to actually finish the game and make it what it was intended to be, instead of an unfinished state.
