Dream Date World (Chainlink Integration)

Inspiration

We came across the following problems in the existing Dating Apps:

For Women: Not getting enough data on a person for filtering creeps before one-one interaction
For Men: Not getting enough matches and chance to interact with women
Hookup Culture: Focus on looks over personality which accelerates the hookup culture

We were inspired to solve these problems for the following reasons:

Dream Date World (DDW) is a web3 Dating Metaverse Platform. In our MVP, we use Discord as our Metaverse, having the following features:

People register on our website https://www.app.dreamdateworld.com/
They connect their Discord and Wallet, and enter details like interest/bio/gender
On registration, they are given a registered role on discord and receive DDW token used for economic activities.
People can search other users by their discord name, like or super like them
When you are liked/super liked, you get approval tokens according, which can be used to claim DDW tokens
If you are matched with a user, you can create timed private space, for which you have to pay accordingly in DDW tokens

We have used:

IPFS/Filecoin: To store User Profile Data, Likes and Match Data which is access controlled
Discord Bot: To Handle Registration role handling, and creation of Timed Private Spaces
Express Backend: To handle communication with MongoDB Backend
MongoDB: To store data related to different Blockchains like Aptos and Polygon. Will be used to make the platform cross-chain

web3.storage: To read/write in IPFS
Polygon: For DDW Token, Approval Token and DDW App Smart Contracts
Chainlink: To fetch Approval Token to DDW Token exchange rate via External API Call
Aptos: For DDW Token, Approval Token and DDW App Smart Contracts
Vercel: To Host Website Frontend and Express Backend
Vultr: Server Instance Provider, used to host Discord Bot
Quicknode: RPC URL for polygon smart contract interface
