Inspiration
Unraveling the mysteries surrounding our dreams has fascinated humanity for centuries. I believe that everyone deserves access to resources enabling them to decode their intricate web of symbols and narratives, leading to increased self-awareness, emotional resilience, and mental well-being.
What it does
DreamCatcher serves as an intelligent digital companion offering customised interpretations of user-submitted dreams, identifying prominent themes, and delivering actionable advice backed by therapeutic research. Furthermore, we generate captivating abstract images representing each interpreted dream, enhancing engagement and reflection opportunities.
How I built it
I utilised PartyRock and a variety of its models to convert user input into meaningful interpretations and also creative output.
Challenges I ran into
The hardest thing here with anything dream related is that there is no one-size-fits-all. Anything suggested is purely a suggestion and therefore it is hard to validate output as definite.
What's next for DreamCatcher
- Web/Mobile App: Taking it outside of PartyRock into some form of web application will allow more customisation
- User Profile: Linked to the above, it would be great to allow users to build their profiles so they can begin to analyse and understand how their dreams link to; previous dreams, sleep quality, stress levels and many other variables
- **Social Networking Abilities:* Should users want to then in a Strava feed fashion then they can post about their dreams and interact with other users
