  • Users commonly face confusion and uncertainty with prompts when attempting to determine the optimal prompt format that will maximize their generated results

What Dream AI Does

  • Dream AI allows the user to input customizable prompts that generate a variety of possible product designs. The platform then outputs beautiful product images based on the unique product and attributes specified by the user, all through a seamless and easily navigable, user-friendly interface.

How We Built Dream AI

  • Built the frontend using Next.js and React.
  • Built the backend using Python, FastAPI, Midjourney.

Challenges We Faced

  • Early on in our design process, we ran into some challenges that required us to adapt and pivot on our project idea as a whole. We initially started with an AI law app, but ended up making a quick move towards building a completely new product idea that better fit the overall time frame and scope of this event.

Accomplishments We're Proud of

  • Optimized and built beautiful UI/UX with a modern tech stack.
  • Built using FastAPI while striving towards Python best practices.
  • Collaborated with one another and worked extremely well as a team.

What We Learned

Throughout our time working on this project, each team member contributed in unique areas and learned something new in various different parts of the tech stack.

  • Abdullah: Learned Next.js framework and connecting to Python backend.
  • Sydney: Learned how to utilize git and make API calls in Python.
  • Dan: Learned how to utilize FastAPI, following PEP standards, and utilizing typing hints in Python.

What's Next for Dream AI

  • We hope to further expand our reach so that we can connect people from all around the world with great AI/image generation models and inspire the creation of new, innovative products. Dream AI ultimately aims to encourage creativity and embolden designers to dream big in all of their creative endeavors.
