What it does
- A first-person Virtual Reality puzzle game
- You use various Crayons to draw objects into reality to solve puzzles
- focuses on the user's creativity and puzzle-solving abilities
- encourages unconventional solutions to problems, there's no "right" answer to the puzzles.
- You start in a sterile, brutalist styled testing facility, and as you progress through the game, the world around you begins to get more cartoony, objects are similar,
How I built it
- I have not built it yet, but I was able to plan out the steps necessary to build it.
Challenges I ran into
- TIME. I'm currently being swamped by 4 other projects and while I wanted to work on this more, I was unable to ; A;
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
- Getting this far despite being solo.
- Creating a detailed plan to make this in the future,
What I learned
- Time management is, and will always be important
- The limits I have to produce content/learn new tools in a short deadline
What's next for Drawing The Answer!
- CREATING THIS! Once I have more time and learn more of the tools necessary to create this, I'll do my best to actually create this.
- Learning VR for Unity/Godot
- figure out how to have the user "draw" objects
- figure out how to how to have certain created objects possess certain properties, such as drawing a trampoline/spring that allows you to jump higher
- Learning Blender/Maya
- Learning Blender's grease pencil to create a more cel-shaded/cartoony shadering.
