For our hack, we wanted to incorporate hardware, crowdsourcing, and our hack badges.
This robot is a XY plotter using a marker on a dry erase board. It uses Boilermake hack badges to get input from boilermake participants to determine how to move the marker on the board, in a "Twitch plays pokemon" kind of style, except with drawing.
In creating this hack, we essentially wrote our own stepper library utilizing a shift register, and took advantage of the fact the every boilermake participant has the means to interact with our hack using their hack badges.
