Drain Bot

Inspiration

I created a telegram bot before so I decided to look into how i could create a discord bot instead

What it does

Greets users who joins my channel in the main text channel(can be edited) Prints the first few lines of the bee movie script when you type "bee" in the server

How we built it

I used python and followed a tutorial on real python

Challenges we ran into

I didn't know what the API does and the example given sends the new user a dm so I looked at the documents but couldn't understand much.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Probably the fastest functional bot i have ever created

What we learned

I really need to learn how to read documentations
