Inspiration

text based MOs are cool and thought it could be a fun project for our first hackathon

What it does

Our game is supposed to use a raspberry pi hosting a mySQL server to connect players together, however we ran out of time and couldn't implement that aspect. Other than that it's a text based fantasy roleplaying adventure game about slaying a dragon

How we built it

Erika used python and pygame

Challenges we ran into

Tried using javascript with a Jquery terminal emulator library which did not work, mysql is hard.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

mySQL actually runs

Erika is proud of writing all of the end code we used

What we learned

how to set up a mysql server for remote access and how raspberry pis work
