Inspiration
I wasn’t always a founder. In fact, not long ago, I was just a student, quietly pushing through my final year in school, having a tight time has every student always had. Life wasn't easy. I juggled classes during the day and odd freelance tasks at night. But even through those hard times, I never stopped looking for purpose. I knew I didn’t just want to graduate, I wanted to build something meaningful. Something that mattered. A Nation's problem solver.
That’s when I started learning programming. I still can't forget my first line of code. It didn’t look much. But it awakened something powerful in me: the confidence that I could solve real problems—not just for myself, but for others too. Then one evening, a close relative fell ill. We didn’t know which medication to get. We couldn’t reach a doctor in time. And the pharmacy gave us something that, we later found out, made things worse.
That moment broke me. But it also shaped me.
That’s when the idea for “Dr. Recommend” was born. It’s still at a testing phase, yet I’m still learning. I’m still building it—line by line, test by test. But I’m doing it with heart, because this isn’t just an app. It’s my mission. I built it not because I had the answers, but because I had lived the questions.
And I believe that even as a student, I don’t have to wait to make a difference. I just have to start.
What it does
It helps in drug recommendations according to the information on your sickness or body infrastructure given to the medical practitioner
How we built it
I built it using both HTML, CSS and JavaScript
Challenges we ran into
Due to not enough familiarity with my JavaScript, i had to go through some complicated issues, but I was able to find the right solutions.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Well, what I'm more proud of is just getting it to the world. Not about the design or the looks(That also matter's) but about reaching the people and the Nation as a whole.
What we learned
how well and useful JavaScript is and will always be as a coding language.
What's next for DR.Recommend
Try to reach the people through any means necessary after completion of the project.
