Dr. MKK – Smart Health Assistant Inspiration

I come from a pre-medical background, and I have seen many people forget to take their medicines on time. In villages and small cities, patients often do not have quick access to doctors. Some elderly people live alone and do not understand complex medical instructions. This inspired me to build Dr. MKK – Smart Health Assistant, an app that acts like a small helper doctor in your pocket, reminding patients about medicines and helping in emergencies.

I wanted to use technology to solve a real health problem in simple people’s lives.

What it does

Dr. MKK is a smart health support app that helps users:

🔔 Get medicine reminders at the right time

🚑 Use an emergency call feature for quick help

📋 Store basic health and medicine information

🤖 (Planned) Provide simple health guidance like a chatbot

🌐 Work in a simple way so even non-technical users can use it

The goal is to make healthcare support easy, fast, and always available.

How we built it

I built this project step by step as a beginner in tech:

First, I planned the features like medicine reminder and emergency help

I designed the app structure and screens

I used beginner-friendly development tools and AI guidance to understand how apps are created

I focused on simple design so users can easily press buttons and understand alerts

I tested the idea like a real patient using the app daily

This project shows how a medical student can move into technology to build health solutions.

Challenges we ran into

❌ I am from a non-coding background, so learning app development was difficult
