Inspiration
We wanted to bring Dr. Louisa Correa’s warm, award‑winning Paramus dental practice into a playful Meta Horizon world, transforming routine dental environments into fun, interactive spaces that engage younger audiences.
What it does
Guests explore a charming virtual dental clinic, complete with skydome, garden, waiting areas, and treatment rooms, designed to spark awe, educate about dental care and build confidence through gamified interactions.
How we built it
We crafted a hierarchy with SpawnPoint, World, and LowPolyHouse, mirroring Horizon’s performance-friendly layouts. Organized assets under Dr. Louisa Correa → Models, Textures, Pictures, Scripts for clarity and future sharing. Styled everything in a minimalist, pastel-shaded low‑poly aesthetic to run smoothly on Quest and delight kids which is our main goal.
Challenges we ran into
Keeping triangle count low while maintaining visual charm and clarity for education, especially because this project is intended to be a faithful recreation of her actual dental office.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Achieved a vivid and fun environment that echoes Dr. Correa’s branding.
What we learned
With this Horizon World we learnt that art direction is more important than polygon count. Additionally, we believe in Extended Reality and we hope to learn the horizon World's potential for experimental marketing in the Health / Health-tech space.
What's next for Dr. Louisa Correa
- We want to implement feedback loops to reward good habits and healing awareness.
- We want to expand the world to include oral-care educational quests and social-shareable photo features.
- We want to add Dr. Louisa Social Media tags and monetization.
